SMART Code of Life would not be possible without the help and expertise of our wonderful volunteers. Find out who they are and what they do below.
Ambica is a 17 year-old from Greensboro, NC. She is an unapologetic student activist, entrepreneur, and tech enthusiast. She oversees the business/neuroscience/tech curriculum. Immersed into the world of IT as a 6th grader, she created a computer game to educate younger students on sustainability management, using Microsoft Kodu Game Lab. In her free time, she likes to dance and surf Youtube for cool science videos.
AMBICA RAMCHANDRA
Suhani is the co-leader of the technology curriculum. She is a freshman at the STEM Early College at A&T. She has always enjoyed learning about technology and is passionate about helping others and hopes to inspire young girls to develop an interest in technology. Apart from STEM, Suhani enjoys playing a variety of sports from track to ice skating.
SUHANI RAMCHANDRA
Alicia is the co-leader of the technology curriculum. She is a freshman along with Suhani in the STEM Early College at A&T. She’s worked with MIT App Inventor 2. Growing up with technology, at a young age became curious about how this new world works, and now wants to bring her love for technology to other young people.
ALICIA BAO
Sanvi is a sophomore at the Early College at Guilford and is the head of the Neuroscience and Internet of Things Curriculums as well as Head of Marketing for SMART. Ever since a summer camp in 8th grade, she has been deeply involved with technology and STEM. She now volunteers at the same summer camp as a session leader and is now part of FTC team 5795. She's always looking for ways to bring more people into STEM fields, so they can shape the future they live in.
SANVI KORSAPATHY
Cedra Ali is a sophomore at the STEM Early College at N.C. A&T. Her love for biology led to her aspiration of becoming a pediatrician. Cedra’s hobbies include swimming, painting, and volunteering. Equality and equity are very important to her as she believes everyone should be treated fairly and be given chances to succeed, unbiased from their race, ethnicity, gender, etc.
CEDRA ALI
Sreya is attending Stanford University in the fall where she will major in Computer Science and minor in Art Practice. During highschool, she's been vigorously involved in the FIRST Robotics program, as a part of FTC 731, Wannabee Strange. She's been involved in all aspects of robotics, and was Head of Marketing for nonprofit organization ECG Robotics. She's also deeply interested in the arts and began her own solopreneur career as a freelance artist. Sreya wants to combine both art and tech and push our society into the future.
